NACHI-FUJIKOSHI CORP. was founded in Toyama, Japan in 1928. The needs that resulted from the increasing level of industrialization and the growing permeation of technology, combined with Japan's heavy reliance at the time on imports in this sector, formed the basis for the challenge that NACHI-FUJIKOSHI CORP. set out to confront.

Consistent mobilization of industrial resources and innovative techniques paved the way for a large number of technological and mechanical developments - from raw materials to finished products - which were merged together by NACHI-FUJIKOSHI CORP. in an integrated system concept. This concept fits NACHI-FUJIKOSHI CORP. to meet the new challenges of the millenium.

1929 Production of saw blades commences.
 
1931 NACHI markets twist drills through a separate sales organization.
 
1934 Production of precision cutting tools is expanded and a separate sales organization set up for this purpose.
 
1938 Product range extended to include broaching and special tools. Thanks to the takeover of Higashi Toyama steelworks (manufacturer of precision steels), the first integrated production flows become a reality.
 
1939 Production of roller bearings commences coincidentally with the establishment of a separate sales organization.
 
1943 Production of machine tools and special machines for manufacturing bulk articles commences.
 
1961 Modern metallurgical plant, equipped mainly with German-made machinery, installed in Toyama.
 
1962 NACHI America Co. Ltd. founded with branches in New York,Detroit and Chicago.
 
1965 NACHI-FUJIKOSHI CORP. builds Nakada works with a view to perfecting simultaneous manufacturing and assembly of component parts for roller bearings.
 
1967 NACHI FUJIKOSHI (Europe) founded in Duesseldorf.
 
1967 Toyama steelworks undergoes further expansion; originally envisaged capacities increased.
 
1972 Production commences in Brazil.
 
1974 Production commences in the USA.
 
1976 Production commences in Spain.
 
1979 Production commences in Singapore.
 
1982 Manufacturing plant built for industrial robots.
 
1984 New divisions set up for industrial robots and precision machines.
 
1987 Research and development department reorganized to enable technical basis to be extended into FA.
 
1989 Manufacturing plant built at Nakada works for hydraulic components; precision manufacturing facility erected in Higashi-Toyama.
 
1997 NACHI celebrates 30 years in Europe.
 
1999 The company name was changed to NACHI Europe GmbH.
 
2003 NACHI CZECH S.R.O. was established at Louny, Czech Republic: Production of bearings started in June 2005
 
2004 NACHI Europe GmbH, Spain branch was established at Madrid and Barcelona
 
2004 NACHI Europe GmbH, Czech branch has been established at Kolin
 
2005 NACHI Europe GmbH, U.K. branch has been established at Birmingham
 
2005 NACHI Europe GmbH moved to a brand new site at Krefeld, Bischofstrasse. The robotic and hydraulic Division also moved to here from Pleidelsheim. From here NACHI Europe promotes "NACHI Business" for the european market. Current number of employees is over 50 people. Building size is approximately 3000 m².
