Bearings

Since 1939 NACHI has been developing and manufacturing rolling bearings with outstanding high quality.

Every detail in athe process is controlled by NACHI – from steel production to heat treatment and machining of the components for the bearing assembly.

Today NACHI supplies a wide range of ball and roller bearings for all kinds of applications (machine tools, transmission, electric drives, cranes) and industries (aerospace, automotive, general).

NACHI offers customers the highest possible flexibility

Vastly customisable design (geometries and materials) to suit customer requirements (incl. raceways/cage design, ring/ ball/cage materials, etc.), as well as performance-enhancing heat treatments and coatings.

Strong rolling bearings for use in rough conditions

Thus NACHI presents itself as a premium supplier for high-quality rolling bearings especially for applications in power-train, in construction machinery, in cranes and in electric drives for automation and robotics. Already in the year of 1941 the Japanese company – as the first manufacturer in the world – introduced spherical roller bearings for applications on oil rigs. Today NACHI manufactures a range of spherical roller bearings which have substantially higher load rates at similar size compared to competitors’ devices. Particularly strong types of NACHI’s spherical roller bearings operate very reliably even in conditions with severe vibration. Therefore they are preferred in crane and construction machinery applications and in mining machines.

NACHI developed roller bearings for the Bullet Train “Shinkansen”

Since the 1960‘s NACHI-FUJIKOSHI has aimed to become a leading manufacturer of mechatronic systems based on technical innovation and internationalisation.

NACHI‘s rolling bearings conquered space

In January 2004, the NASA / JPL Mars Rover safely landed on Mars. The rover‘s strain wave gears were equipped with NACHI-FUJIKOSHI‘s ultra-thin bearings.

General Industry

NACHI’s bearings ensure utmost precision at high speeds, under highest loads, radial or axial vibrations, and for practically all shaft diameters. NACHI’s comprehensive product range provides ideally suited standard and special bearings for every operational situation.

Particularly for long-life support of machine spindles and ball screw drives, NACHI offers precision bearings with tight-tolerance bearing play.

The portfolio includes single and double-row versions, pre-loaded bearing units with angular ball bearings and full complement cylindrical roller bearings.

Automotive

NACHI’s bearings are used in the production of engines, constant velocity joints, steering units, and gearboxes. Thanks to outstanding bearing developments, NACHI has achieved a leading market position in the automotive field.

NACHI is also a world leader with their sealed, double-row angular contact ball bearings for air conditioning units. Here, the sealed, double-row angular contact ball bearings convince with high temperature resistance and a long service life.

For universal joints and wheel bearings, the pre-assembled roller bearing units ensure simple installation and permanently precise guidance and bearing under high loads.

Moreover, self-aligning roller bearings have proved themselves in steering units, and high-load ball bearings with special cages exhibit an extremely long service life in automatic and manual gearboxes.

Construction Machinery

The world’s highest static load ratings are offered by NACHI’s EXQ-V spherical roller bearings. They are particularly suited for heavy construction equipment, excavators, cranes, and conveyor belts. Because in these applications skewing occurs frequently.

The EXQ-V cage has a higher tensile strength, and is more resistant to fatigue and wear. Consequently, EXQ-V spherical roller bearings are particularly suitable for applications with high shock and vibration loads. In addition, the special surface treatment of the EXQ-V series cages leads to lower heat build-up, which reduces the operating temperature. NACHI’s spherical roller bearings can be used in ambient temperatures up to 200 °C.

NACHI sheave bearings are used mainly for cranes in ports, ships, building sites, and trucks. The double-row, full-complement cylindrical roller bearings are easy to install and to secure against axial movement. They can absorb high radial forces and are lubricated for lifetime. Two-sided nitrile rubber seals (NBR seals) provide excellent protection against dirt and moisture.
