Construction machinery

In the construction field, NACHI’s hydraulic components, roller bearings, and cutting tools play a decisive role.

NACHI’s hydraulic components have proved their worth in compact excavators. They are efficient, reliable, and space-saving. Particularly the compact and robust PHV drive motors are convincing as customized solutions for working machines with track drives. These motors have made NACHI a world leader for equipping compact excavators.

All components in NACHI's product range are carefully matched to each other. This includes the PVD combination pumps with integral piston and gear pumps for all hydraulic functions of compact excavators, the powerful PCR swivel drives, the leakproof and maintenance-free RCJ rotary joints, as well as load-controlled valve blocks.

The world's highest static load ratings are offered by NACHI's EXQ-V spherical roller bearings. They are particularly suited for heavy construction equipment, excavators, cranes, and conveyor belts. Because in these applications skewing occurs frequently.

The EXQ-V cage has a higher tensile strength, and is more resistant to fatigue and wear. Consequently, EXQ-V spherical roller bearings are particularly suitable for applications with high shock and vibration loads.

In addition, the special surface treatment of the EXQ-V series cages leads to lower heat build-up, which reduces the operating temperature. NACHI's spherical roller bearings can be used in ambient temperatures up to 200 °C.

NACHI sheave bearings are used mainly for cranes in ports, ships, building sites, and trucks. The double-row, full-complement cylindrical roller bearings are easy to install and to secure against axial movement. They can absorb high radial forces and are lubricated for lifetime. Two-sided nitrile rubber seals (NBR seals) provide excellent protection against dirt and moisture.

Components for construction machines made of many different materials can be machined economically with NACHI's innovative drills, taps and end mills made of HSS-PM and solid carbide. Especially when manufacturing large worm gears for heavy construction machines, NACHI's hobbing cutters have proved to be highly efficient, thanks to large chip grooves, optimized cutting geometries, and high-quality coatings.

Broaching is one of NACHI's core competences. In the demanding field of turbine blade machining, NACHI is the recognized world leader in broaching tools for root geometries (fir tree). In addition, NACHI is world leader in the production of helical broaching tools. In Japan, NACHI operates the world's largest production site for broaching tools. Well-known construction machine manufacturers rely on NACHI's broaching tools.
